On a warm, sunny Earth Day in the Public Garden, people filled the park. Some did not know that it was Earth Day or had no plans to celebrate. Even those who knew did not make special activities.

While many of us would like to contribute to Earth Day, there isn't much promotion for the event.I personally, was unaware it was Earth day until this afternoon, just like Junior Gustavo. Today is also a working day, so most people aren't free to contribute to projects or even enjoy the outdoors. Instead we are left thinking about the Earth, while we work in small windowless cubicles.
